Actually the injectors are a million times easier than the glow plugs. Depending which engine, mine you have to remove throttle body and egr valve and cooler and millions of other things and drain coolant, Injector are a five minute job. Other 2.0 TDCI ford engines glow plugs are at the back of the engine right down there!! And even worse.

Hi, I have a 2009 Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI with 38,000 miles covered. 3,000 miles ago, at motorway speed of 70mph and having covered 60 miles, a misfire started. It became worse and the Engine Malfunction light came on. The car would only now tick over and not respond to the accelerator. Switch off and on again and the car drove reasonably ok again

Hi all have multiple issues I'm working through on my car one of which is an EGR issue currently throwing a code that it is stuck open and is down on power so assuming maybe it is carbed up. I've gotten to the valve ok removed the to bolts on the back and have unclipped the metal hose clip which attaches to metal pipe
Think the ECU measures the voltage when the EGR opens and closes and knows its not working. If I unplug the EGR it gives a fault code for high voltage. (And runs quite poorly) but the p1412 frozen EGR code doesn't reappear. Yeah that's right, blanking it won't help if the electronic part is faulty.
The MIL light recently came on my 2008 Ford Focus 2.0 tdci. I used a ELM 327 OBDII interface (£10 from ebay) and app for the iPhone to read the fault codes which came back as "P2263 Turbocharger/Super Charge Boost System Performance" and a couple of others (see attached photo below) . Hi all, I've been having DPF problems with my 1.6 TDCI focus (2010, 76K miles), and need a bit of advice on decisions going forward. I haven't found one post that really explores different DPF options together clearly, so hopefully this will prove useful for others.
